It will also create new opportunities for the music industry attracting performers primarily from Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada and initiate other related actives that attract public participation and support. Montague Waterfront Getting an Artful New Look

Charlottetown, PEI, March 21, 2014 – The Town of Montague will receive funding to support upgrades to the waterfront and help increase visitors to the area. Fisheries and Oceans Minister Gail Shea and PEI Fisheries, Aquaculture and Rural Development Minister Ron MacKinley have announced a combined investment of $320,000 towards necessary enhancements to the south side of the Montague Waterfront.

Halifax Convention Centre Secures 16 events

Halifax, NS - January 23, 2014 - Sixteen organizations have already committed to bringing national and international conferences when the new Halifax Convention Centre opens its doors in 2016. Trade Centre Limited (TCL) today, Jan. 23, announced the conferences are expected to attract more than 12,000 visitors and generate an estimated $18.1 million in new money to the province.
