December 18, 2012 - East Coast Kitchen Party is an independent media organization reporting on Atlantic Canada's arts, entertainment and lifestyle news. We launched our main web portal during the East Coast Music Awards in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island in April 2011.

 

In September 2012, the East Coast Kitchen Party Facebook Fan Page achieved a new high in "Total Market Reach" of 28,784 people in ONE WEEK. Since January 2012 our Twitter feeds have grown by 300 new people each month and now exceed 5,000 followers. We reach thousands regularly on this website and our YouTube channel.

 

On October 23, 2012 we launched East Coast Kitchen Party Radio. Atlantic Canada's radio station streams 24/7. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the many independent artists and the growing number of record companies that have contributed music for our library. We reached almost five thousand unique listeners in 48 countries in our first month of operation.

 

In January 2013, East Coast Kitchen Party will expand again with our e-commerce platform featuring the finest music, giftware and products originating in Atlantic Canada.

 

Today, East Coast Kitchen Party remains a fundamental feature of Atlantic Canada’s culture. It speaks to our history and our future.

 

This entire initiative was originally envisioned in a copyright business plan witnessed and published by Atlantic Multimedia on November 22, 1995.
