On The Set of CMT’s Big in a Small Town with Mark Cameron in Halifax
Halifax, NS – July 18, 2012 – Nova Scotia Country singer Mark Cameron spent part of the weekend with a film crew from CMT. Mark is a semi-finalist in Big in a Small Town. CMT Canada and Casey Clarke are travelling the country on a mission to find a local hometown musical hero.
The Top 5 finalists come from across Canada. On Thursday, August 23rd and Thursday, August 30th at 10pm/ET the judges will decide the winner. Mark’s episode in Halifax airs August 30th.
Taking part in the show has turned out to be great timing for Mark who has just released his new album Mark made a connection with Gordie Sampson and invited him to Nashville to do some work. Just The Way You Like It has been released and the first single distributed to radio. Have a listen to What's One More Day and call your local radio station and request it.

Mark runs his own trucking business but has been around country music for years. His first release, “Get ‘Er Done” came out in 2007. He has had success in the past with talent competitions so entering Big in a Small Town seemed natural to him.
