What a year for Carmen Townsend - Audio Interview
Cape Breton, NS – November 28, 2011 – What a year this has been for Carmen Townsend. Her debut CD “Waitin and Seein” has hit all the right notes with fans and the music industry with a launch that included a tour with legendary musicians Heart. Carmen wowed everyone with her stage performance at all the major summer festivals and went on to win four Music Nova Scotia Awards in Yarmouth.
Carmen has stopped and reveals a television program demo has just been made and she is ready to tackle the big apple and working towards an appearance in New York. You can listen to our interview on the Soundcloud file below.

For many festival goers this summer, Carmen’s cover of the Beastie Boys Sabatoge. She won over new fans with her rocking stage performance including the likes of Shaun Majumder of “22 Minutes.” Here she is with the band performing at the Evolve Festival this past summer.
Carmen’s is now working on a new album a performance in New York City a national tour and the possibility of a television show after her appearance in a pilot. Those details are available in our interview. Expect to see her grab more awards when the East Coast Music Awards are presented in Moncton in April 2012.
