Carleton Stone thrilled to work with Hawksley Workman On New CD

Halifax – September 4, 2011 – Carleton Stone admits being a little bit “pumped” when the box containing his new CD arrived. He immediately took a picture and posted it on twitter in anticipation of a year of touring in support of the new album.
He’s had lots of help to get him to this point. The album is being released by Halifax’s Groundswell Records who work with the likes of Kim Wempe, The Stanfield’s, and Thom Swift to name a few.
The album was recorded in Blue Rodeo’s studio in Toronto and then mastered in Nashville, but efforts made to keep things simple proved worthwhile as Carleton’s strong voice and writing shine through.
We spoke with him as he prepared to launch the CD at shows in Halifax and Sydney, Cape Breton. You can listen to that interview below.
