Brooke Miller Home after World Tour for New Album
Halifax, NS – January 9, 2012 – Brooke Miller has returned to Halifax following a world tour that followed the release of her self-titled album. Brooke recorded her fifth album in November 2011 for the German label Stockfisch Records.
Miller’s new business relationships with Dacapo Publishing & DEP/Universal, both based in Montreal QC, will help bring her to a truly international audience, using Montreal as a launching pad. We managed to catch Brooke in Halifax and get an update and you can listen to that interview on the Soundcloud file below.

Brooke’s first single ‘Cannonball’ reached Canada’s top 10 charts for active new Indie singles. Trips to Japan, Moscow, New York and Germany followed with the backing of a Universal and a number of other companies and her Manager Don Ross, who also lends his Canadian Folk Music Award nominated guitar work to her shows. We caught up with Brooke
There is not much time for rest as she prepares for the East Coast Music Awards in Moncton in April and new album and European tour in May and a move to Montreal where she can be closer to the business that has rapidly grown for her this past few months.
